HR
The Cosira Group maintains that a company’s greatest assets are its people. This is particularly pertinent in the South African steel and construction sector, where there is currently a severe shortage of skilled and qualified individuals. Therefore, retaining quality staff is paramount to sustainability and success.
In order to provide leading construction solutions, efficient project planning and implementation is required, for construction companies today, where the level of skills, experience and capabilities of a construction team determine the success of any project.
Skills development and training is therefore an area of great importance for the Cosira Group, and it plays a key role in mentoring young engineers and artisans in developing their careers.
As such, the Cosira Group has been successful in growing, managing and developing our employees’s skills by focusing on the development of their talents and abilities. Be it in project management, project planning, fabrication, draughting or finance, employees are encouraged to pursue their career paths – not merely jobs.
Furthermore, the Cosira Group provides employee training at all levels of the organization, including learnerships for boilermakers, welders, slingers, rigger, safety and quality inspectors, and training for crane operators.
