Cosira's Site Construction division provides clients with turnkey Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation, Platework and Piping (SMEIPP) site solutions and comprehensive project management. This comprehensive service includes meeting the requirements from the provision of staffing and equipment to ensuring that the constraints of the project are taken into account and all relevant quality, safety and environmental ISO standards are adhered to.

Cosira has the necessary logistical and infrastructural support to manage the transportation of all components to site. The company also undertakes to coordinate and oversee the range of sub-contractors. This includes ensuring that these audited and approved sub-contractors meet the project deadlines and are in compliance with the client's site SHERQ policies.

Cosira supplies the manpower and technical expertise necessary for the erection of the structural steel components manufactured in our fabrication facilities, as well as the installation of mechanical components 'free-issued' by the client from specialist OEM's. Cosira is able to undertake site construction of pre-assembled modular structures, gantry assemblies, as well as 'stick-built' solutions as and when the project constraints demand it. Cosira has the technical knowledge to fabricate and erect HDPE (high density polyethylene) piping, carbon steel and carbon steel rubber lined pipework as well as platework, conveyors and hand-railing, grating and flooring.

The site construction division has completed erections in a broad range of industries spanning the mining, power generation, petrochemical, industrial and commercial industry sectors. They have also been extensively involved in construction on prestigious infrastructure contracts such as the Gautrain stations and national power utility Eskom's Medupi and Kusile Power Stations.
